Buffalo Garden

2019’s garden

Things I'd do again.

There’s a lot of things we did this year in the garden that I have to remember to do again next year. There’s a few things I never got around to doing, but that’s what next year is for.

Things that came out well in 2019

  2. Your garden looks great, as you’ve got a nice variety with balanced forms and colors.
One of the things I’ve noticed, as a difference between your Buffalo garden and my Virginia garden, is the number of pots you maintain. For me, all my pots are “ladies in waiting”. I try to keep them alive for evaluation purposes and to replace something that I don’t like as much. With your shorter growing season, I can see that the flexibility to move the pots around, and even move them indoors to the house or greenhouse would be an advantage. Around here I rarely see pots, and then mainly in hosta gardens. Almost never in azalea or daylily gardens.
We all adapt! I really enjoy your posts!
